Welcome Message From the Principal

Dr. James Jenkins- Principal

Hello Isbell Middle School community,

I’m Dr. James Jenkins, and it is an absolute honor to serve as your new principal. I’m excited to join a school with such strong traditions, talented staff, and incredible students. My commitment is simple: serve every student every day!

This year, we’ll focus on three priorities:

  1. Belonging & Safety – Students learn best when they feel seen, safe, and valued.

  2. Engaging, Rigorous Learning – High expectations paired with the right supports so all learners can thrive.

  3. Partnership with Families – Open, two-way communication and meaningful opportunities to get involved.

I’m grateful for the warm welcome I’ve already received, and I look forward to meeting you at drop-off, games, performances, and family events. Let’s make this a year of growth, joy, and accomplishment for every student.

With appreciation,
Dr. James Jenkins
