Administration
melissa guerra, principal
Dear Isbell Family,
I am excited to serve as the principal of our town's largest middle school, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the community that helped to educate and raise me as a child. Thank you, in advance, for trusting us with your student.
Middle school can be a trying time, and it is our job to help students and their families successfully navigate these years in preparation for high school. The adults on our campus will work together to provide a safe and welcoming environment that cultivates your student's curiosity and imagination.
We welcome your input as we engage in a cycle of continuous improvement, and encourage you to take advantage of the various parent involvement activities that will be available throughout the school year. We are eager to work together with our parent partners to raise and educate respectful, productive, and well-rounded citizens.
Please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to serve the Santa Paula community.
Sincerely,
Melissa Guerra

Welcome Condor Family.
I am Darren Hicks and I'm glad to be back at Isbell Middle as Assistant Principal. I was at Santa Paula High School for the past five years as a Physical Education teacher and coach. I learned a tremendous amount from my time spent there and look forward to helping build a bridge between the High School and Middle School.
I look forward to the new challenge we face and if there is anything I can do for you this school year, please let me know.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you this upcoming school year.
GO CONDORS

Hello Condors,
I am Robert DeCandia Assistant Principal at Isbell Middle School. I was a Vice Principal at Santa Paula High School for 3 years, and prior to administration, I was a Special Education Teacher at Gateway Community School. I was born and raised in Ventura County and have a great appreciation for the rich history and opportunity in the Santa Paula Community.
I am looking forward to making new connections as I serve both the students and staff at Isbell Middle School. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support the overall success of your student.
